Dance camp 2013
This past week Jane attended dance camp just like last summer, but this year her cousin Olivia came as well! It was such a treat to have her with us for the week and so sweet to see these girls interact and grow closer.
The last day of camp, the little dancers show us their ballet, hip hop, jazz and "miracle" (lyrical). Love it that she is still calling it "miracle" this year like she did last. :)
Jonah and Josie and their kiddos came up to retrieve Liv and watch the show. It was really cute and the hip hop segment even had some break dancing, which was hilarious. Jane calls it "the coffee grinder". I wish I had gotten it on video.

Summer Swim Lessons
Jane and William were very apprehensive about taking swim lessons this year. Mostly Jane, but it then wore off on Will. I assured her they would be SO much fun but she insisted I teach her. So for weeks I just said, "We'll talk about it later, Jane.".
All they had to do was meet Ms. Emily to see momma was right and they were in fact going to love swim lessons. Two weeks flew by and they continue to ask me when they are ever going to see her again and when she can come over for a play date. Ah, the minds of children. Gotta love it.

Like watching my children learn any new concept, it was so fun to see
them learn new things and watch their abilities expand. I always find
it interesting how most children learn best from someone other than
their own parent.
I know I took a ridiculous amount of photos but I love photographing with water and the lighting and subjects were just all too perfect. Glad I got my camera out and lugged it around.
